Who operates Checkkind

Checkkind is independently operated from California, United States.

Checklist and Pro+ attachment data

On the website, the checklist, voice memos, compressed images, reference links and contact details are stored locally in your browser. In the Checkkind iOS app, that content is stored in the app’s private on-device container. Checkkind does not receive, read or synchronize that content. Microphone access is requested only when you choose to record a memo. Clearing browser or app data, uninstalling the app or changing devices may remove locally stored content.

Membership accounts

When you sign in or purchase a website Founding or Pro+ Membership, we process the minimum information needed for billing access, such as your email address, Stripe customer reference, membership tier and subscription status. The iOS app checks Apple-supplied purchase entitlement information to unlock Pro+ and does not receive your full payment details.

School pilot requests

When an authorized school or organization representative requests pilot information, we collect the representative’s name, work email, institution, role, estimated number of participating students and any optional message. The request is saved to a private owner inbox. The representative’s email app may also open a copy addressed to support@checkkind.com; that copy is transmitted only if the representative chooses to send it. This information is used only to evaluate and respond about a potential Checkkind pilot. The form must not be used to submit student names, educational records, health information or other student personal data.

Payments

Stripe processes website payment details. Apple processes iOS In-App Purchases. Checkkind does not store full card numbers or card security codes. Stripe and Apple may process billing information under their own privacy policies.

Advertising

Free website visitors may see a limited number of clearly labeled advertisements supplied by Google AdSense or another disclosed advertising partner. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ads and, where permitted and consented to, personalize them. Active website members do not see these advertising placements. The Checkkind iOS app does not include third-party advertising in its initial release.

Security and retention

We use encrypted HTTPS connections, restricted server-side credentials, signed payment webhooks, rate limits and account-level authorization. Billing event records are retained as needed for fraud prevention, accounting and legal obligations. School pilot requests are retained while they are being evaluated and may be deleted when they are no longer needed.

Your choices

You may deny microphone access, remove individual attachments, clear local storage, cancel a website membership through Stripe or manage an iOS subscription through your Apple Account. You may also request access to or deletion of account or school-pilot contact data, subject to legal retention requirements.
